Aileen Plant Memorial Fund

When Aileen Plant died in March 2007, many of her friends and colleagues contributed to a fund as a memorial to her commitment to protecting the health of the people of the world, particularly those who are disadvantaged.

Curtin's very substantial contribution to the Fund has enabled us to introduce a number of scholarships in honour of Aileen's work in public health. These include the Aileen Plant Memorial Scholarship for undergraduate students with an interest in Indigenous health, and the Aileen Plant Postgraduate Top-Up Scholarship for post-graduate research students in public health, with an emphasis on research in Aboriginal health and international health.

Donations may be made to the Fund and are tax deductible. Donors are acknowledged on this web site and invited to associated activities such as special lectures. Support for continuing Aileen's work through these scholarships is very much appreciated.
